Our language packs are translated by native speaking humans, not machines! They therefore use consistent terms throughout the shop. For example we use 'cart' every time we refer to the shopping cart, not sometimes 'cart' and on other occasion 'shopping basket' etc.

Our language packs are compatible with all X-CART versions and modules.
We supply a tab delimited file that can be imported directly into your X-CART version.

We offer 3 types of language packs::

Standard packs:

 This is the cheapest version of our language packs. a very straightforward pack that is for general use on all X-CART versions.

Optimized packs: 

This is our most popular version of language pack. Just a little bit more expensive then our standard pack. Our Language Pack Optimizer database application creates a pack that is 100% compatible with your x-cart installation, since we make your pack based on an export of the standard language of your shop. Additionally we offer a Customer Satisfaction Guarantee!

Custom Optimized Language Packs:

Every shop has some text that has to be different and written especially for your shop.Our custom optimized language packs do just that. We supply you a optimized pack, BUT custom translate the most important pages that define and distinguish your shop from others.

About X-CART language variables ;

 Most X-CART installations have between 4000-5500 language variables in the database.

Many of them are not used at all ( for example there are often more then 350 variables for all different payment gateways and real time shipping systems, whereas most shops will only use 1 payment gateway and carrier ).

Many others are only used in the admin site.
Because translating the variables is a very time consuming job we have chosen for quality.

We have translated all variables that are used in the customer site, and also a lot that are used in both customer and admin site. Translating more variables would have made the language packs unnecessarily more expensive.

How the Language Pack Optimizer (LPO) works :

Our LPO database contains more the 8000 variables per language, and therefore we can say that we have all the variables, of  all different X-CART  versions and add-on modules on the market.

Our LPO creates a language pack that is 100% compatible and identical to the standard language of your shop, but translated.

You e-mail us a semicolon delimited export of the english language of your shop.

We import your exported language variables into our LPO.

The LPO cross references each and every one of the language variables of your X-CART shop, and searches the corresponding human translated variable in our language pack database.

The result is an identical match, so that all the languages in your shop contain the same variables, making it much easier to manage your shop and do modifications and updates later.

Optimises the variables for import in your shop. Variables that contain html code can create problems during upload. Our LPO application optimizes these variables and removes or changes codes that create problems.

We supply 3 files ;

A ready-to-upload tab delimited file

A status pack where we have added an extra 'status' column, showing you which variables still need your attention, such as ; general sales conditions, variables that contain the name of your company, variables you or X-CART added specifically for your shop, ...This column allows you to very quickly review the language pack, and do the necessary modifications prior to uploading, which is much faster then modifying later within the admin part of your shop.
